Simple Dinners are the Best Dinners

this looks so good, and definitely something i could see myself making :) i'm always so impressed with cooks who can just whip something up and have it turn into a wonderful dish... i can never cook anything w/o a recipe!
this looks incredible elly! i'm excited about all these soup/stew ideas i'm getting for when the weather actually gets colder around here.

I love that the ingredients in this dish are so accessible.

Elly, I have to thank you SO MUCH for your great blog. I would NOT consider myself a cook, by any stretch of the imagination (and worse yet, none of my friends would either), but with the help of your pretty pictures, simple instructions and fantastic recipes, I am changing my rep in the 'hood!!! :-) I have now made the stuffed pork chops, Giada's parmesan chops and your Braised Chicken Thighs with Autumn Harves Orzo, Mushrooms & Walnuts (I live in the Seattle area and I just stopped by the market and got some of that yummy Pappardelle orzo). I feel so proud that I can make something that another living human being can ingest!! Thank you! Tonight I'm going to try the pumpkin muffins because it's chilly and crunchy and FALL outside and I want to smell that delish pumpkin smell in the morning.

ced, I am so glad to hear you are getting more comfortable in the kitchen! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that my blog helped in some way :) thanks for giving my recipes a try and i hope you like the muffins!

That looks really good and sounds tasty!
Elly, again, this looks fantastic. I like the combo here. What I like about dishes like these is that all you need to accompany them is a plain base like some noodles, steamed rice, potatoes etc.

That looks great! I love white beans, and use them often... This is going on my list of must try recipes!
Mmm that really does look good. I wish my husband liked beans.
Thank you so much for the GREAT recipe! The flavor is amazing! My hubby thanks you too! I will be making a double batch next time!!
